Luxury Cruise Ship Built by Huanghai Shipbuilding Launched and Named

On November 25th, Huanghai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. held a naming and launching ceremony for the 300-passenger combined passenger-cargo luxury cruise ship ARANOA, which was built for SAS Aranui Cruises under France’s CPTM Group. This vessel is the second luxury cruise ship of the same type constructed by Huanghai Shipbuilding for CPTM Group, following the delivery of the combined passenger-cargo cruise ship Aranui 5 in 2015.
With an overall length of 116 meters, a molded breadth of 21.00 meters, a designed draft of 5.00 meters, and a gross tonnage of 11,200, the ARANOA has a service speed of 15 knots and a cruising range of 3,000 nautical miles. It can carry 198 passengers and 99 crew members. The ship is equipped with a variety of leisure and entertainment facilities including an open-air stage, a barbecue restaurant, a swimming pool, bars, a shopping center, a gym, and a spa. More than half of its guest rooms feature sightseeing balconies and floor-to-ceiling windows, and four elevators are installed on board. The luxury level of the ship meets the standards of a five-star hotel.
